As you see they prepared everything and the day started !!!!!!!!!!!!!!First John, the showed how he does it. he shot a balloon from very far WOW!!!!!!!! then he tested us to see which is our dominant eye, then we coupled up and finally the fun started. We practiced, John taught us a few techniques, we had a competition and the best of each shift competed at the end.

Last week thursday Camp Hachayal had the 1st learning class competition ever!!!!! We all gathered into zal and split into 5 groups, with each group one of the learning classes and then we had LD Meir Fink ask incredibly difficult questions together with fellow judges Aryeh Leib Pruss and Barry Nash. Incredibly the stupefyingly staggering questions were matched by the equaly enormous scholarly knowledge and erudition distplayed by the talmidim. Almost every question was answered correctly!!!!!!!! (Only, some points were lost by talking. ) in the end (as all ends go) two classes sped in for the tie, with the rest following closely behind. For the winners!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rabbi Nashes class and then Rabbi Pruss’s Class with a roar of their gas pedals screeched to a tie beside tem with a last minute extra hard written question whitch only they (with Rabbi Pruss’s expert mentoring) knew. and for the pic’s.

Last week Tuesday Hachayal went on their grand trip! it started with a boating trip, from there we went to Cabellas which is a large camping store and museum. back on to the buses and off we go to our campsite, where everyone set up there tents (THANK YOU RABBI WILHELM) and went to collect wood. everyone came back hungry and after mincha we sat down to a delicious B.B.Q. (with shiashkabob). after maariv we sat down as R. Wilhelm lit the bonfire and we sat, sang camp songs, heard stories and eventually dropped off to bed. the next morning everyone was woken up early for our packed schedule. after shachris and cleanup off we went to real golfing (range driving). from there it was off to the park for lunch and some playing. then to Mall of America ( the biggest one around) and for the grand finnalle to Valley Fair (amusement park). after two fun filled days we headed back (for some sleep) . Good night

This past Thursday the whole camp went on an amazing trip to ……. GRAND SLAM!!!!!!!! which for those who don’t know is one building that contains in it Laser tag, bumper cars, batting cages, mini golf, and arcades. obviously everyone was having a great time for a couple of hours and then came the announcement from H.C. Shloime that everyone should leave the building and line up. but not to go back but rather to roll straight into the roller skating rink just ’round the corner. finally we finished there too and after a smashing mincha we boarded the buses for one of MN beautiful state parks for a grand B.B.Q. . eventually all good things must end (only temporarily of course) and we headed back to camp for a good nights sleep
